        Hindustan College of Engineering organised a unique international football tournament for the students from abroad as well as from India at the Hindustan College of Engineering Football Ground, Bay range Campus, Padur last week.

        Five teams, namely Oman Booters, Bhutan Warnders, Rawanda Jumpers, Indian Lions and Rest of the World took part in this inaugural edition of the tournament.

        Bhutan warnders made an upset in beating Indian Lions in the final match of the tournament by 3-1 and lifted the Dr KCG Verghese memorial trophy.

        Indian Lions who won all other engagements finished runners up.
