A home-maker and an alumnus of Stella Maris College, Uma developed special interest in paintings right from her childhood days and has exhibited some of her paintings.
For instance, the portrayal of flowers and the pictures of Lord Shiva, Goddess Kamatchi and landscapes has brought out the best in the artist.
Replying to a query on how does she manage to paint being a homemaker, she said love for art does not have any limit and she revealed that at times she used to sit late in the night to paint.
As a mark of respect and to show her gratitude, she has invited A V Ilango, her art master, and Rajamani, her school teacher, for inaugurating the six-day exhibition. For details contact Uma Dayanidhi at 9444160676.
