        Param Vir Chakra (PVC) awardee, honorary Captain Bana Singh will be visiting Chennai tomorrow and a grand reception has been organised by the area Army headquarters, a release here said today.

        Captain Singh was instrumental in the capture of a key post at an altitude of 21,153 feet above the sea level in the Siachen glacier region, during the Indo-Pak conflict of 1987.

        PVC Bana Singh will be visiting Puducherry and Villupuram areas to attend various felicitation ceremonies organised by various school and civil authorities.

        The visit has been organised to educate and motivate the youth about real life in the armed forces, by the some schools of Puducherry and Villupuram district of Tamilnadu, the release added.
