President A P J Abdul Kalam will inaugurate an international conference on signal processing, communications and networking at Madras Institute of Technology, tomorrow, at 6 pm.
According to a press release, the objective of the conference is to bring together innovative academics, researchers and industrial experts in the field of electronics, communications and allied fields to a common forum, for a constructive dialogue on theoretical concepts and practical ideas. Around 300 delegates from various foreign countries and India would participate in the conference.
Kalam would also inaugurate the Centre for Technology Development and Transfer and launch the smart card on the occasion. Governor Surjit Singh Barnala, State Higher Education Minister K Ponmudy and Anna University Vice-Chancellor
D Viswanathan would participate
at the inaugural session.
