        Tamilnadu Open University (TNOU) has started issuing applications for BCA and MCA courses for the academic year 2007. The application forms are available at Tamilnadu Foundation Office at 27, Taylors Road, Kilpauk, Chennai, between 9 am and 6 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

        Diploma holders can upgrade from diploma to degree within two years in the field of IT by joining BCA lateral entry (BCA 2nd year).
