        Atlanta Ganesh, who has acted in number of stage plays directed by Visu and Y Gee Mahendra has come out with two telefilms with an eye on the international market. The films, My Dear Father and Self Defence are produced by Mahendra Jogani featuring artistes from India and America.

        My Dear Father is about a young American girl coming down to Chennai in search of her Indian father, whom she manages to find after much travail.

        Self Defence expounds the need for a woman to equip herself with self-defence tactics through martial training. American actress Linda Arsenio plays the lead role in both films. She has earlier been a part of Yash Chopra's Kabul Express.

        Small screen actor Krishna plays the hero with Y Gee Mahendra cast in the role of the parent in both films. Other artists include Adithya, Swethaa, Baby, P B Balaji, Anandhi and Bhavana.

        Arul Mani Palani has handled the camera for both films, with editing by Senthil. The story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Ganesh.
