DMK men vandalise BJP offices
In a shocking turn of events, the ruling DMK regime chose to register
its protest on former Member of Parliament Vedanti’s provocative utterances
by vandalising the offices of the BJP across the State today including
Kamalalayam the party headquarters here.
BJP leader's house stoned
The houses of BJP's Tamilnadu unit president H Raja and his father-in-law
were attacked allegedly by DMK workers in Sivaganga district late last
night to protest the reported 'fatwa' issued by former BJP MP Ramvilas
Vedanti against Chief Minister M Karunanidhi over his remarks against Lord
Ram.
Sun TV telecast still continues
to be hazy
Cable TV operators throughout the State blacked out the telecast of
Sun TV till noon today and its bouquet of channels for the second day today
in protest against the launch of Sun DTH service, which has triggered panic
among the cable operators, who now see a threat to their future.
AIADMK to hold demo tomorrow
AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa today said that her party would hold a demonstration
in front of Tanjore Head Post Office tomorrow to protest against
the DMK government which had still not completed the storm water drainage
facility as was promised.
Hindu Munnani office ransacked
Hindu Munnani leader Ramagopalan escaped an attempt on his life when
some DMK workers attacked its headquarters at Chintadripet here today.
