A brilliant 138-ball knock of 157 not out by Abhinav Mukund was the highlight of St Bede 'A's 97-run win over PSBB (KK Nagar) in the final of the Parle-TNCA under-17 schools cricket tournament for the C Ramaswamy Cup at the M A Chidambaram Stadium here yesterday.
Chasing St Bede's 308 for four in 50 overs, PSBB finished at 211 for seven with L Suryaprakash's defiant 107 not out in vain.
Abhinav, who struck 15 boundaries and four sixes, dominated the PSBB bowling.
Abhinav and No.3 Praveen Srivatsan (77) added 185 runs for the third wicket.
Former South Zone off-spinner Kanwaljeet Singh gave away the prizes.
