        Sir,

        It was shocking and disgusting to learn that a 12-year-old fell into a drain in Ghaziabad and the operation went on and on! Subsequently, the Army was called in.

        Is it not shameful that even after nearly 60 years of Independence we are not in a position to protect our children from the basic surroundings?It is further a heartless attitude of our politicians who are busy only to catch votes in perhaps the largest assembly segment where an innocent boy of an ignorant tax payer's son fell in to the pit of the drain totally due to the negligence of the local administration.It is high time the people should come forward gather to put all the politiciians who are only vote hungry to be put in the same drain where our 12 year old fell down while playing.Where we heading to? Even God may not be in a position to save us from the situation which is beyond redemption!
