RECOGNITION FOR EXCELLENCE: Union Minister of Tourism Ambica Soni giving away Today's Traveller diamond award for excellence in showcasing art and culture to M Rajaram, Director of Tourism and managing director, Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd at function held in Delhi on Tuesday.

        It's another feather in the cap of Tamiladu Tourism Department in winning Today's Traveller (a premier and leisure travel magazine) diamond award for excellence in showcasing art and culture.

        Union Minister for Tourism Ambica Soni gave away the award at a function held in Delhi on Tuesday.

        M Rajaram, Director of Tourism and managing director, Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation receoved the award.

        Other recipients of the awards included: Heritage award - Rajasthan, . Responsible Tourism-Kerala, Publicity and Promotion - Madhya Pradesh, Tribal - Chattisgarh, Fairs and Festivals- Gujarat, Best Beach Tourism- Goa, Innovative Tourism- Punjab, Picturesque - Sikkim, Pilgrimage- Uttharkhand and Emerging Tourism State- Jharhand.
