        A special contest for Madras Day - Madras Nalla Madras - is being held to enable Chennaiites express their love for the city in a variety of ways.

        The contest is being organised by www.chennailive.in. Participants can send articles on the topic 'Why I love my city' or can send photographs of the old Madras along with a short caption, their name, contact phone number and e-mail address.

        Or else they can send in a video clipping that reflects their perception of the city. The contest ends on 27 August, said a press release.

        The best works would be showcased on www.chennailive.in.

        The users would also win a chance to regularly contribute and be featured on the popular website.
