        The International Cine Appreciation Forum, in association with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, New Delhi, is organising a Turkish Film festival at the South Indian Film Chamber Theatre from 28 to 31 May.

        Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Turkey Dr V L Dutt will give an introduction of the films to be screened on 28 May.

        A host of Turkish films are lined up for the Chennai connoisseur, directed by the who's who of Turkish international cinema. Heartbreak by Yavuz Turgul will be screened on 28 May at 6.30 pm, Under Construction by Omer Vargi on 29 May at 6.30 pm and Offside by Serdar Akar on 30 May.

        On the last day i.e. 31 May, auteurs Ahmet Ulucay and Atif Yilmaz's films Boats out of Watermelon Rinds and Borrowed Bridge will be screened at 6.15 pm and 8.00 pm respectively.
