        The four-day Green Building Congress organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) discussed a range of issues on building materials and equipment, green homes and LEED workshop.

        The exhibition on Green Buildings which was held with an objective of exhibiting green products and technologies was able to expose the participants with latest trends in environment-friendly buildings.

        Over 80 organisations exhibited their green products and services which included more than 60 eco-friendly and energy-efficient products.

        During the four day Congress, LEED India Core and Shell rating system was formally launched. Nine buildings in India were awarded the LEED Rating.
