        AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa today said that her party would hold a demonstration in front of Tanjore Head Post Office tomorrow to protest against the DMK government which had still not completed the storm water drainage facility as was promised.

        In a statement, here, she said the construction of the stormwater drain facility in Tanjore was initiated during the AIADMK regime. However, due to vendetta, the DMK government did not implement it properly, she alleged.

        Referring to Local Administration Minister M K Stalin's statement that the construction of stormwater drainage facility would be completed by March 2007, Jayalalithaa said that it is untrue and all the construction work would take another year or more. But, the DMK government had said that the work got completed and had proposed to inaugurate it on 27 September.
