TCL Private Ltd, a leading consumer electronics company in China, has unveiled plans to set up more than 126 service centres across the country by 2008.
At a press meet here yesterday, TCL India Holdings Ltd managing director Warren Wang said this while announcing the company's new brand strategy for the global market called 'Creative Life.'
Warren said based on the company's understanding of the current trends in both the domestic and international consumer electronics market, TCL would provide its consumers with products of creative industrial design.
Explaining the new initiative,
Warren said TCL Corporation expects to take advantage of this new strategy
to spearhead the formation of three types of competitiveness based on the
design, quality and marketing. Giving an insight on the company's plans,
vice-president (Sales) Rajesh Rathi said the company had achie-ved a turnover
of Rs 325 crore in India, last year. 'We expect it to go up to Rs 400 crore
this year,' he added.
