Chidambaram, Aug 24:
PMK founder leader Dr S Ramadoss today asked his party cadres not to resort to road-rokos, whatever may be the reasons.
Presiding over the marriage function of district leader of PMK, Rayanallur Kannan's family here, Ramadoss observed that staging road rokos were unnecessary. 'If anyone still goes ahead, then it is not only clear that they have defied me, but they have also violated the principles of PMK,' he said.
The PMK leader suggested
alternate protest modes which would solve the problem and at the same time
would also not inconvenience the public. He also said that his party does
not need alcoholics and urged cadres to well educate their girl children.
Referring to the recent clashes between the cadres of Dalit Panthers of
India (DPI) and PMK, Ramadoss said they should not fight each other and
cautioned that some vested interests are interested in creating problems.
