        Sven persons were killed and 16 others suffered injury when their mini-bus collided with a tractor at Thirukovilur, near here.

        According to police, the mini-bus was going from Thirukovilur to Kolundirampet. When the bus was crossing Manalurpet Road, it collided with a tractor carrying paddy bags.

        In the tragic incident, seven persons died and 16 persons with injuries were admitted to Villupuram government hospital.
