        Now, style conscious men and women need not go abroad to get the latest in hair design and therapies. For the UK-based White Cliffs had taken over the Farrell Studio in Chennai to set up a modern facility that would provide hair care solutions for all age groups.

        Catering mostly to the high-end of the market in hair care products and solutions for the last 10 years in the UK, the niche-company had a grand opening of its state-of-the-art studio with a fashion show that displayed a range of its treatment and services to the customers. 'We are introducing to the Indian market an array of services including non-surgical replacement for hair loss, reconstruction devices, hair extensions, volumisers, laser combs, hair therapies and styling for natural growth of hair and glamour make-ups,' said Shandy Ravichandran, director, South-east Asia, White Cliffs group. He said extensive research and design facilities at the hair care studio would benefit social celebrities and style-conscious individuals with a range of non-surgical treatments which were approved by the US-based FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

        White Cliffs is the official distributor of global brands in hair products and the specialists working in the salon had got intensive training at their UK facility.

        Through HRD (hair reconstruction device) treatment, White Cliffs offered a safe and effective method for natural growth of hair for those having lost them due to chemotherapy and suffering from cancer. 'We give extension services to women that are absolutely safe, chemical free and heat free, thus adding length to the existing hair. High profile clients can avail therapy sessions which are primarily meant to improve the condition of existing hair and beautify it,' he said.

        Positioned as one stop shop for hair care needs for the Indian market, White Cliffs offered special packages with solutions ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 60,000 to suit the requirements of different categories of people.
