        A software engineer was injured when his motorcycle was knocked down by a patrol jeep of Adyar Police last night at Kasturibai Nagar.

        Saikumar, 30, was riding on his motorcycle at Kasturibai Nagar in Adyar last night when a police jeep collided head on with the two-wheeler causing injuries to the engineer.

        He was rushed to a private hospital for treatment. Adyar Traffic Investigation wing have registered a case and further investigation is on.
