Protest against CM's remarks on Ram

AIADMK holds demos across TN

Chennai, Sept 26:

        The AIADMK party, demanding Chief Minister Karunanidhi's resignation today staged demonstrations all over the State.
       Party general secretary J Jayalalithaa announced the demonstrations to protest his remarks on Lord Ram over the Sethu Samudhram issue.

        A dharna was staged in front of the Collectorate. Party Presidium chairman Madhusudanan led the protest.

        North Chennai district secretary PK Sekarbabu, south Chennai district secretary Kalairajan and other office-bearers took part. Madhusudanan demanded that the Chief Minister take back his remarks on Lord Ram.

        Similarly at Villupuram the AIADMK advocates' wing president VS Sethuraman led the protest in the presence of Villupuram north district secretary, MLA and former Minister C V Shanmugham. Former Minister V Subramanian, district presidium chairman T Hirachand, Vanur constituency LA Ganapthy, former MLAs Ginjee Ezhumalai, Tahadco Kannan, Thamizhmozhi Rajathathan, and others participated. At Kallakurichi State Anna Labour union president NS Vel headed the protest that took place at the bus stand. At Thiruvallur the protest was held hear Kamarajar statue with the AIADMK election wing secretary N Balaganga leading the protest.

       In Kancheepuram at Therady Rangasamy tank the demonstration was led by the AIADMK organising secretary Sulochana Sampath.

        At Vellore near Anna auditorium the All-Inida MGR Mandram secretary D Jayakumar led the protest, former Minister R Vilwanathan, former district secretary P Neelakandan and others participated. In front of RDO office at Thiruvarur the Anna Labour union treasurer Abdul Hameed led the protestors.
