Felicitating a national awardee

        Sharada Ramanathan, director of Sringaram, along with her team were felicitated by SAE India for winning three national awards in music, cinematography and choreography for the movie Sringaram - Dance of love. 'This low budget movie in a non-contemporary style brought out the best elements in film making and we feel proud of our alumnus', said Rathish Babu, CEO, Access Atlantic Technologies (India).

        Sharada Ramanathan inaugurated the workshop on the making of the film Sringaram - Dance of Love. She shared her experience in making of the movie and discussed the nuances of cinematography, re-recording and the lighting aspects involved in film making. Cinemtographer Madhu Ambat and actress Manju Bhargavi addressed the gathering and shared their insight on how film making can be made more effective and meaningful.

        Sharada Ramanathan said, 'Thinking back, I can say that my time at SAE was immensely useful as I was able to answer all of Madhu Ambat's questions when I had first approached him to do the cinematography for the movie. The film is being commercially released on the 28 September by GV Films.
