        The All India Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Devotees Forum has strongly condemned MDMK General Secretary Vaiko for alleging that the expelled deputy general secretary of his party, Senji Ramachandran had sought the help of Kanchi Sri Jayendra Saraswathi, during the previous NDA rule at the Centre for 'becoming a Union Minister'.

        In a release here today, Valasai Jayaraman, the general secretary of the forum said, Sri Jayendrar never recommended the name of anyone at any time and added it was highly regrettable that the MDMK leader had said Senji Ramachandran with the help of L Ganesan had met Jayendrar for recommending the name of the former for a ministerial berth at the Centre.
