'Gen-Next' branch from BoB

        Targeting th youth segment, Bank of Baroda has launched its 'Gen-Next' branch along with ATM at Pune.

        Inaugurating the new branch, Bank of Baroda chairman and managing director Dr Anil K Khandelwal said that the Gen-Next branch was designed to connect with the life of the youth and their lifestyle.

        Pointing out the branch was the result of a century of experiency that co-exists with state-of-the-art techno-logy, he said that its a path-breaking initiative of the bank which is first of its kind. The standout feature of the branch is the experience that it offers to a walk-in customer. He said that a special area called 'Yo Zone' has been created wherein the customer can view his/ her favourite movie, sports, music video or news channel and added that a reading lounge facility is being created to enable the customer in relaxing and having a glance at some of the latest books, magazines and bestsellers.

        The branch is further providing free browsing on the internet to all its walk-in customers. Equipped with the latest technology innovations like the electronic cheque drop box wherein a customer can drop his cheque and get an electronic receipt of the same instantly. Bank of Baroda is out to offer its customers a banking experience they would cherish every time they walk in.

        Shedding light on the bank's network, he said that it has an extensive network of over 2700 branches in India and 61 overseas branches/ offices in 21 countries across five continents. The ATM network across the country has crossed 1000 besides roll out of Centralised Core Banking Solution (CBS) at 1050 branches across 30 States in India. It's an achievement for the bank in rolling out overseas branches in Singapore, South Africa, UAE and Oman. It's no gain saying that the bank is a pioneer in introducing 12 hours banking (8 am to 8 pm). With retail loan factories that operate on assembly line principles, Bank of Baroda uses both technology and engagement of their staff for development and growth.

        Following an innovating sales and delivery model, it delivers retail loan loans in six days flat. The bank has also carved a special sale and delivery model for hasslep-free and convenient dispensation of credit in the SME segment, which also operates on assembly-line principles.

        The bank has also launched Wealth Management Services through a well-structured and broad-based offering that caters to the middle class people, whose income and potential for saving and investments has been on the rise. Financial products such as Mutual Funds, Life policies, Non-Life policies are now on offer at Bank of Baroda's select branches in India.
