        In an attempt to save a sheep, a man got electrocuted last evening at VOC Nagar, Pulianthope.

        Police said Anthony (36), a shepherd, was grazing his sheep herd near Buckingham canal, when a sheep got stuck in the marsh. He got into the slush to retrieve the sheep when he stepped on a live wire and was thrown off. He was rushed to Government Hospital where he died.

        Otteri police have registered a case and are enquiring.
