A mega Thirumana Thiruvizha will be organised at Vijaya Mahal, T Nagar, on 1 and 2 September by Kalyanamalai Matrimony Private Limited.
Addressing mediapersons in Chennai on Tuesday, Mohan of Kalayanamalai, said, 'the mega event would witness over 5,000 brides and grooms from various parts of the State come under one roof. Their search for life partners would end here,' Mohan said.
Kalayanamalai has so far
arranged for over 52,000 weddings. On 1 September, Kalayanamalai would
launch a website www.weddingcharities.org.
The purpose of the website is to encourage philanthropists contribute funds to enable conduct wedding of women from economically backward families, he said and added that Kalayanamalai would conduct weddings of 10 women at a total cost of
Rs 5,00,000.
Also, the Kalayanamalai website would be opened in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, Mohan added.
Mohan, who anchors the Kalyanamalai show on Sun TV on Sundays at 7.30 a.m, said, 'we have travelled to almost all places where Tamils live. They have encouraged and motivated us.
The praise from former President A P J Abdul Kalam and Finance Minister P Chidambaram have been motivating factors.' Kalyanamalai director Meera Nagarajan was also present on the occasion.
