        The English language Teachers' Association of India (ELTAI) in collaboration with the Learning Technologies Special Interest Group of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language ( IATEFL, UK) and Loyola College, Chennai, is organizing a three-day international conference at Loyola College from 3 August.

        According to a press release the conference would have sessions like plenary talks, workshops, paper presentation which would focus on some of the vital areas in the use of modern technologies in teaching English such as podcast and vodcast technologies, blogs, wikis, moodle, web-based audio readers, interactive whiteboard, virtual learning and social networking as well as several other issues and challenges confronting teachers and learners in this regard.
