        K Vijaykumar, Additional Director General of Police of Project officer for School of Excellence and SI Training Academy, Chennai, is the new Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order.

        He will take over from K V S Murthy, who would be retiring on 31July, an official press release said.

        J P Tripathy, IG, Armed Police, is transferred and posted a the new IG Crime, Chennai. He would be replaced by IG K P Maghendhran.

        Deepak M Damor, Superintendent of Police (SP), Namakkal District is transferred and posted as SP Thoothukudi District.

        Y John Nicholson, SP, Thoothukudi District is posted as Commandant, Tamilnadu Special Police XII Battalion, Coastal Security Group, Mandapam, Ramanathapuram District.

        C Sridhar, SP, Tamilnadu Commando Force, Chennai is transferred and posted as SP, Tirunelveli District.

        N K Senthamaraikannan, SP, Tirunelveli District will now take charge as Commandant, Tamilnadu Special Police Battalion, Sundarampalli, Vellore District, the release added.
