        Two persons were killed when a motorcycle hit an aged man who was crossing the road at Mayilam near here today.

        According to police, Anbu, a resident of Thazhuthani village who was riding a motorcycle lost control when he reached Thenkolapakkam village and hit one Dhanushkodi (65), resident of the same village.

        Ezhilarasan who was riding pillion with Anbu, and Dhanushkodi sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital.

        Ezhilarasan and Dhanushkodi succumbed to their injuries and Anbu has been hospitalised.
