        Tender notices, sketches and forms for developmental works to the tune of Rs 5 lakh and above for all the 561 town panchayats in Tamilnadu were being uploaded at a common websites: www.tenders.gov.in; tn.gov.in/tender; tn.gov.in/dtp and townpanchayats.tin.nic.in.

        According to the policy framework unveiled by Local Administration Minister M K Stalin, the individual websites of town panchayats have been integrated under www.townpanchayats.tn.nic.in.

        The general public could log on to internet to understand various on-going projects across the town panchayts, including road works, drainage channels and other development schemes.

        Those quoting for tender works could now download the application forms from the websites and also come to know the status of implementation of different on-going projects, according to an official release.
