Three two-wheelers, including one belonging to former international athlete Shiny Wilson, were found burned down at the Southern Railway housing quarters on Sterling Road, Chennai, this morning.

Police said the vehicles were completely gutted in a fire the reason for which was not known immediately.

The security men in the apartment found smoke emanating from a place where the two-wheelers were parked and immediately alerted the residents who in turn informed the Fire Service. After an hour of battle, the firemen put out the fire.

A case was registered with Nungambakkam police and a special team headed by Triplicane Assistant Commissioner Ramasubramani are investigating.

Railway Superintendent Radhika also inspected the place where the fire broke out.

According to Shilpa, daughter of Shiny Wilson, ' we went to bed late last night after watching television. We got up after we smelt smoke. We rushed down to see the three two-wheelers in flames. We promptly informed the Fire and Rescue personnel.' Shiny said the cycles and the electric junction box at the parking lot were intact. hence, we suspect foul play'.

It may be recalled that recently a few cars and two- wheelers in the city were found mysteriously reduced to ashes.
