The Tamil Nadu State Haj Committee, Chennai, on behalf of Haj Committee of India is inviting applications from Tamilnadu Muslims intending to go on a pilgrimage to Haj by air.
Haj applications forms along with printed guidelines can be obtained from the administrative office, Tamil Nadu State Haj Committee, Third Floor, Rosy Towers, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Nungambakkam High Road, Chennai, said a press release.
The application forms are available from 1 June on payment of Rs 100 per application forms through a money order or a demand draft drawn in favour of the Tamil Nadu State Haj Committee. Not more than six applicants would be included in one group, it added.
Saudi Arabia to recruit Indians

A delegation from Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia, will be visiting India to conduct interviews at Cochin during the second week of June for recruitment in Government Hospitals in Saudi Arabia.

Mayor visits Saidapet

Chennai Mayor M Subramanian yesterday inspected the Nagi Reddy garden in Saidapet.
He instructed the officials to repair the roads and construct storm-water drainage facilities in the neighbourhood. He also ordered the Corporation officials to remove the garbage dumped on the road.
Tamilnadu Slum Clearance Board officials and former Councillor Damondaran accompanied the Mayor, a press release said.
Tenth standard results tomorrow

The Directorate of Government Examination will announced the Tenth standard examination results tomorrow at 11 am.
Students who had appeared
through SSLC, OSLC, Matric and Anglo Indian stream can get their results
