AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA   VOICE MAIL

Kalam should continue
        Sir,

The choice of our next President seems to be assuming a lot of twists and turns that may make a Hollywood thriller look very ordinary. Why such hue and cry about choosing the first citizen of India.

In a big democracy it is very strange that the public opinion is not taken seriously. By and large our people want only Kalam and he has already won the hearts of our Indian masses irrespective of caste creed.

Rashtrapathi Bhavan is no longer the place of corrupt politicians and VIPs. It has become the place of everyone thanks to our 'nice' Kalam.

But our national political parties do not want him to continue; nor any persons of eminence are favoured by them.

The politicians have along list choices only based on caste considerations and other factors. Still they want to call themselves 'secular' in nature. Whom are they fooling !

It's appropriate

        Sir,

The editorial regarding the unauthorised entry of 'secular', non-believing state into the affairs of Hindu temples is quite pertinent that appeared in News Today issue dated 29 May was appropriate. If they have any iota of faith, then they will abide by the rules and regulations being followed by different temples and have respect for the conventions.

For a God-believing Hindu, the sanctity of the temple should be kept sacrosanct and the system being followed from time immemorial should not be tampered with. The very fact that the secularists want to question those procedures shows that they have scant regard for the temples, the deities and the rules prescribed for worship. In such a case, it is better for them to eschew any interference in matters of Hindu faiths and hazard, if they can, their secular experiments to their more preferred minority religions.
