AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Repeating the magic

(Dhoom 2)

It is a yet another Tom and Jerry story from Bollywood. But, Dhoom 2 stands unique among other flicks because of action comedy and the style of narration.

Dhoom 2 is all about making you sit at the edge of the seats and letting your hair down. And one can say that director Sanjay Gadhvi has repeated the magic along with Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra in a sumptuous package of gloss, glamour, glitter and oomph quotient.

Mr A (Hrithik Roshan) is a hi-tech international thief. After pulling off a series of impossible heists all over the world by leaving his signature 'A' as the only clue to the police, he lands is Mumbai.

In India, the case is given to Assistant Commissioner of Police Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) and his clownish counterpart Ali (Uday Chopra). Helping them join the dots together is woman officer Shonali Bose (Bipasha Basu), who was also the college mate of Jai.

Meanwhile, A meets Sunheri (Aishwarya Rai), a petty but clever thief in an attempt to rip off a royal sword for which she joins him in a partnership offer he finds hard to refuse, but later it comes to light that it was nothing but a drama planned by Jai. And so the game begins — between the cat and mouse — between the law-enforcers and the law-breakers.

You have to watch the film to know whether Jai manages to catch A or he proves to be too much for the tough cop?

From the deserts of Namibia to the backwaters of Goa, from the main streets of Mumbai to the ancient forts of Rajasthan, and finally to the exotic Brazil, the film takes audience on a roller- coaster ride with all the thrills and spills.

And the performance of all the four lead stars are sturdy. Abhishek Bachchan looks rugged and turns in a decent performance. Hrithik is charismatic while Aish and Bipasha showcase their figures wearing the flimsiest of clothes.

The Aishwarya-Hrithik chemistry puts the film's mood into a humane perspective. The two anti-socials look into each other's eyes, whisper about love, life and food to each other, play basketball together and even exchange an intense kiss.

However, there are some scenes in the film which are sans logic. There is not even a single Brazilian police officer in sight as Jai and Ali go after A and his moll Sunehri in the streets of Rio.

Also, it is an untold mystery that how Shonali's identical twin (another Bipasha), had been living in Brazil.

Pritam's music in two energetic songs, one featuring Bipasha and the other Hrithik is to be mentioned.

In short, Dhoom 2 is bigger and flashier than its predecessor.
