AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Out to conquer all and sundry

(Spider-Man 3)

The good news is that actor Tobey Maguire deeming the third episode as his best.

Not so cheerful news being his reported desire in changing colour to adult roles. As of now, it is time to savour the happenings in the big screen so astutely brought out by filmmaker Sam Raimi. His interpretations has given the larger-than-life image to the super hero, thanks to the humongous reach of the comic marvel.

Five summers ago, life was not the same for the teenagers bit by the Spider bug. Maguire had acknowledged then that he was pushed to the limits. Blessed with looks for the others to turn green with envy, the 30-plus has brought out the magic overflowing keeping it straight and simple.

Audacious to a fault is the Mr Invincible, daring to ask his beloved to plant a kiss even when he is air-borne. That is some sample of the light-hearted treatment. Much like Bond, getting his girl is no deal for the well-mannered character of Peter Parker. Defying the odds and getting even with his nemesis is child's play when he is blessed with super natural powers. A smart move of the producer Avi Arad is to bring to light the alien symbiot. Like the viagra, it enhances Parker's strength, doing things he pleases as and when his heart flashes the signal. When the spirits are low and staggering, there is the huge influencing factor of Aunt May to help him get back to the winning ways.

Maguire was the first one to see the overflow of funnier elements in the sequel. However hard Avi has tried, Maguire falls way short of the revenge-drenched expression in his handsome face. Like the proverbial links in his earlier essays between Parker and his foes, he banks on the help of two trusted men on the job. You could see the connection in the story, evidently designed to give it a new coating.

Come to think of it, the SpiderMan did not had to do anything out of the ordinary. In the technology-savvy world of spiralling devices, the path to success must have been relatively simple for the one who puts his heart in the sleeve to do one better each time. You expect the expected when Maguire is on the job. Like the World conquering Australian cricket team.
