        Impressive work of debutant director Nagu handling a fresh cast is the high point in the engrossing entertainer. Having done his apprenticeship under R V Udhayakumar and Dharani, the director has made good use of that experience.

        Originally titled Idiot, the film has romance and humour in the right mix, targetted at the youth. In the lead role is Yogi, grandson of yesteryear comedian Thengai Srinivasan. He is at ease in the role, carrying it off with poise and maturity.

        Good support of the other newcomer Regina ensures that the lighter moments are one too many.

        The movie begins with Yogi going all out to help his brother win his lady love. In the process, Yogi gets hooked to Regina, garnering enough support to succeed in his mission.

        Thanks to the support of his technical crew - debutants Raja Srinivasan (cinematographer) and Brahma (music composer), Nagu is able to dish out a clean family entertainer.
