| AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA |
Try taming a Spanish bull in Barcelona? You have as much chance of stopping a rampaging Vijaya T Rajendher in his new avatar of Veerasamy. The bearded man sans his buccaneer-self goes through his act oblivion to the sensitivity of others. Much water having flown under the bridge since that gala launch three years ago, TR's plight is of his own making.
Not deviating from his formula he has wrapped the package with his known ways. Eleven songs, each one a gem, are the saving grace - some inspired work there. In all fairness to TR, the change in government did put a spoke to his designs. Going by reports, he had to reshoot a major portion catering to the prevalent scenario. With no evidence of cogent lines, the script goes haywire.
You could almost the uneasiness in the way the characters mouth the forgettable lines. When TR takes centre stage, it is ony to be expected for the fringe artistes to play along the line.
Sadly, you recount the glorious days of the one who had so much to say in Oru Thalai Ragam, Rail Payanangalil, En Thangai Kalyani and the unforgettable Uyiruvallavurai Usha.
This Samy has no gumption to stake claims for heroism.
