        After Sorgam, its now Paasam from AVM stable. Continuing its 1 pm slot on Sun TV, AVM Productions has started its new mega serial Paasam being telecast from Monday thru Fridays.

        The famed production house has churned out several successful teleserials and interactive shows on the small screen. Sorgam, produced by AVM Productions, was aired successfully and curtains came down with 980 episodes.

        Paasam deals about the travails of a woman, who wants to take care of her parents even after her marriage. Did she succeed in her attempts to find a groom, who accepts to her wish forms the crux of the storyline.

        The serial features Vishwa, Indraja, Peeli Sivam, Bhuvaneswari, Jhanavi, Rajkanth among others.

        Ramani Bharadwaj has performed the musical score and lyrics by Vairamuthu. Sekkizhar has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues and directed by RK. Paasam is produced by M Saravanan and M S Guhan.
