AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Sweet romance

(Ninaithaley)

After production, Vishwas Sundar has has taken to direction. Taking a safe route in his maiden directorial venture, he has opted to remake a Telugu blockbuster (Anand), a romantic entertainer.

Credit to Vishwas Sundar for coming out with a love story sans double entendre dialogues or an overdose of violence, which is the order of the day. The sensitive crafting and freshness in the lead pair deserve special mention. Suchin, son of yesteryear heroine Vyjayanthimala, plays the lead role. Debutante Nargis is cast as his ladylove Rupa.

The movie begins with Rupa, whose parents are killed in a road mishap due to the reckless driving of a business entrepreneur. The story moves to a decade later. Rupa supported by her friends gets her life back on track. She lands a job and arrangements are made for her wedding with colleague Rahul.

Enter the hero (Suchin). Along with his friend Narayanan (Krishna), he attends the wedding and his life takes a turn. Rupa's marriage is halted. Impressed by her honest ways, Anand falls in love with her and succeeds in his attempts to woo Rupa. However, a startling revelation by Anand puts the brakes on their affair. Does the couple overcome the problems to get married forms the climax.

For Suchin, who appeared in a brief role in Arjun's Kannodu Kanbadhellam, this film should be a perfect re-launch. He has made full use of it. Five Star-fame Krishna does a neat job with his brand of comedy.

Vijay Anthony's catchy music and Madhi's lens are plus points for the movie.
