One more from Radaan's nest

        Here is yet another serial from the Radaan Mediaworks. Beginning 27 August, (weekdays at 12 noon) the serial titled Sooryavamsam portrays the life of the protagonist who is a village girl in love with a city-bred guy. But he cheats on her and runs away from her village.

        The girl travels to the city in search of her beau. She faces several hardships during the course of her search. Does she overcome them? Does she succeed in her mission?

From the crime scene

        Makkal TV will telecast an infotainment show Marupakkam on Saturdays at 7 pm. It is a half-hour show on crime and criminal procedures that attempts to unfold many unknown facts behind an incident. Stay on as the series features episodes on illegal activities through cyberspace, actual happenings at the crime scene, kidnapping act, the story of an accused, the stories of the losers and much more.

A successful trio comes together

        At Koffee with Anu on Star Vijay this week, director-actor Cheran, heroine Padmapriya and Senthil, the star of Vijay TV's Madurai series (who plays the role of Cheran's brother) are the special guests.

        The trio had been part of Thavamai Thavamirindhu, which was recently announced the National

        Award Winner for the Best Family Film. After Director Visu's Samsaaram adhu Minsaaram, it is Cheran's Thavamaai Thavamirundhu film that has gained such recognition at a National level.
