A feeling of deja vu

(Nee Naan Nila)

In a nutshell, it is all about two youths pining for the same girl. Turn of events leave one dead with his spirits languishing in the earth only to ensure that his beloved lead a happy life.

Debutants Bharathan, Ravi and Meghna do their job well, able to meet the demand of the characters. At least the early segments remind a lot of Kadhal Desam. Bharathan and Ravi study in the same college and at loggerheads.

Enters Nila (Meghna), promptly casting a spell on the twosome. After a sequence of predictable events, both express their love to Nila.         Sans the freshness expected in a college ambience, the movie loses considerable ground. Trying to recreate the magic of the earlier films does not go well with the audience.

The cast has Karunaas, Manivannan, Muthukalai, Achamillai Gopi, Venniradai Murthy among others. Dhina, quite typical to his style, has come up with a racy musical score. Actor Silambarasan has lend his voice for a number. On the whole, Nee, Naan and sans Nila.
