“True human feelings, passions and emotions are indeed the gastric juices, not of the stomach, but of the soul” –Swamy Vivekananda
My good friend Tarun Vijay, Chief Editor of PANCHJANYA, has recently written a book under the title “Saffron Surge, India’s Re-emergence on the Global Scene and Hindu Ethos”. This book was released by Sri Sudharshanjee, Sarsangchalak of the RSS in New Delhi recently. This book is going to be released in Chennai at the RSS Kariyalaya today (22 December 2007) at 6.30 pm by Shri Suriyanarayana Raojee.
In this Book, Tarun Vijay makes it clear that any STATE—including the Indian State—without some means of change is without the means of its conservation. The greatest asset of any nation is the spirit of its people, and the greatest danger that can menace any nation is the breakdown of that spirit—the will to win and courage to work.
Through the lava of his inexorable logic and incisive analysis, Tarun Vijay has proved that it is this national spirit or public spirit of our nation which has been completely destroyed or uprooted by our own consciously chosen socio-economic policies under the umbrella of “SECULARISM” after our independence on 15 August, 1947.In operative terms this has always meant Anti-National-Hindu Pseudo-Secularism. Tarun Vijay gives biting and rapier-like examples which can stand the strictest judicial scrutiny in any court of law to prove that Government of India and of course all the State Governments, after our independence, have consistently followed an ever-deepening and ever-widening policy of Anti-National-Hindu Pseudo-Secularism in all spheres of our national life—political, economic, educational, social, cultural and religious.
The Congress Party first under Nehru and later under other members of his family has consistently been in the vanguard of this nation-destroying Anti-Hindu Movement. Consequently all the Hindus of India (excepting the pseudo-secular anglicized anti-national Hindus!) have been reduced their level of third class Stateless Citizens.
The matter is made worse by the Islam-embracing, Christianity-coveting and Hindu-hating pseudo-secular mafia of mass media. To quote the appropriate words of Tarun Vijay: “A faithful Hindu is still a target of jokes and mockery, and gets contemptuous references in the so called mainstream media.”
For example inspite of so many incidents of rape and brutal killings of the Hindus reported by various sources in Bangladesh during the last ten years, not a single electronic channel from India thought it worth sending a team there for investigation with concern for the pursuit of truth, information and enlightenment. A large, unmeasurable percentage of the total editorial space in all our mainstream newspapers is concerned not with public affairs or matters of national importance. It is devoted to cheap entertainment, titillation, amusement, voyeurism and tripe.

According to Tarun Vijay the year 1857 was a symbol of National Unity, a collective resolve to throw out the British Rulers, to assert our Dharma, our Majhab’s identity and to respect each other as Indians first and Indians last. An undivided society fought for an undivided India.
Now 150 years later, India has been divided into three portions and the State Power plans to divide sections of Indians on the basis of castes, sub-castes, political affiliations and religion, making the pan-Indian identity inferior to micro assertions and brazenly promoting hate against ideological adversaries and opponents under the State-sponsored mega programme of enthronement of authoritarian anti-Hindu pseudo-secularism.
Today the State Power stands by the side of any one seen, insulting the Hindu sense of faith and pride. Hence M.E. Hussain’s ‘minority right’ to paint nude Hindu Goddesses is sacred and so is the right to butcher cows for a secular Constitution misinterpreted which in fact incorporates protection of cows as one of its Directive Principles.
Muslims in India belong to the same blood, race, colour, ancestors and history and traditions as that of the Hindus. They are being misled by their so-called leaders to covertly support those foreign invaders who just happen to be their co-religionists. Every single Muslim in India who feels wronged any time anywhere always finds Hindus standing with them in Courts and on streets.
Has the rivers happened even once? Has any Muslim organization taken up the cases of Kashmiri Pundits or Godhra victims and taken the fight to its logical conclusion to get justice for the Hindus in the same way as Hindu Human Rightists have being waging a battle for Muslim victims of Gujarat and elsewhere?
To quote the brilliant words of Tarun Vijay in this context “History has provided this very unique and rare chance to the Muslims of India to show a friendly gesture to their Hindu brothers by offering Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura back to the Hindus to re-build temples. These places do not have any great significance to Islam; rather they are a blot, a continuous reminder of hate and subjugation to the Hindus. Hundreds of Mosques have been demolished in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to make way for roads and hospitals etc.”
Our surrogate Prime Minister—known as decided only to be undecided, resolved only to be irresolute, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity and all powerful only to be impotent—on his own admission spends a sleepless night whenever and wherever any suspected Muslim terrorist of Indian origin gets arrested abroad.
Sufferings of victims of Islamic terrorism in Pakistan often move him to inconsolable tears. And yet at the same time, he is not moved or affected by the marginalization or the ethnic cleansing of the Kashmiri Hindus by the extremist Islamic elements in the Kashmir Valley. All the Kashmiri Hindus exterminated from the Kashmir Valley seem to be crying out helplessly in the wilderness: “Pray Prime Minister tell us why do you feel shy even to offer a word of solace to the unfortunate Kashmiri Hindus, driven out of their homes and hearths by the Jihadis”.
Why should the UPA Government let loose a policy of Secular Talibanism against all the Kashmiri Hindus of India? This is the question which Tarun Vijay is raising with righteous indignation.
We have an Indian Government, run by the majority Hindus which finds it politically correct to announce larger and greater facilities and subsidies to Haj Muslim pilgrims and ignore the pilgrimages of the majority Hindu populace. Here we have a Christian Chief Minister who announces reservations for the Muslims in a Hindu-dominated province and proposes the same concessions for the political field also.
Huge Government billboards at the National Capital’s main Railway Station invites applications from people belonging to all the non-Hindu religions for getting funds for education and free coaching. Hindus alone are unwanted. Here anything that goes against the majority religious formulations is accepted as a sign of liberty, secularism and broad-mindedness.
Bindis are prohibited in Christian Schools where 90% of the students are Hindus and the school is run on their money. Against all this irrefutable background, Tarun Vijay concludes with legitimate national fervour and passion: “In fact, it pays to be a non-Hindu in Hindustan”.
A feeling consists of two things closely connected: First, a sensuous element such as colour seen, a sound heard, an odour smelt: Secondly, what I call the emotional charge on this sensation: the cheerfulness with which you see the colour, the fear with which you hear the noise, the disgust with which you smell the odour. All true knowledge ‘rests on a foundation of true feeling’.
The intellect’s ability to do its proper work does not depend solely on its horse-power and on the accuracy with which it is made and assembled. It depends also on the engine’s being so solidly bolted down on so strong a foundation that it cannot shake itself to pieces. The solidity or robustness of a man’s sensuous emotional nature, whereby it affords a sane basis for his thinking, consists in two kinds of strength in his feelings, which I will call Compression- Strength and Tensile-Strength.
Compression-Strength in feeling is vividness; Tensile-Strength is tenacity. Tarun Vijay has displayed Himalayan Compression-Strength and Tensile-Strength in his spirited Manifesto for the creation of a Hindu-State called Hindustan rooted in our age-old traditions of Sanathana Dharma. His clarion call to all the Hindus is: Hindus of India and the world unite!! You have nothing to lose but your chains!
Thus, Tarun Vijay has spoken heroically on behalf of the besieged and battered Hindus of India and asserted his proud and unshakeable constitutional right to be a Political Hindu, an Economic Hindu, a Social Hindu, a Cultural Hindu, a Religious Hindu and above all a Spiritual Hindu. Suppressed and submerged feelings of millions and millions of Hindus facing the onslaught of the Islam-embracing, Christianity-Coveting State-Promoted Anti-Hindu Pseudo-Secularism of the Government of India can derive great inspiration and strength through this small volume produced by him.
