Chennai: Tension prevailed at the Sanatorium railway station today when passengers noticed smoke emanating from an abandoned bag in the station. Chennai: Three Narikuravas who allegedly attempted to steal solar batteries from the streetlight in Pattinapakkam were arrested last night. The group was trying to remove the batteries from a playground located near Pattinapakkam police station. During patrol, the police spotted them and recovered nine batteries stolen from the streetlights.
