It is a matter of concern that the battered roads at Anna Salai are posing a threat to vehicles and pedestrians. The road has developed uneven patches due to heavy rains making it vulnerable for vehicles to negotiate and make way for people to pass as the sidewalks are waterlogged.

As a member of the resident's welfare association and a citizen of the city, I feel it's my duty to take up the sorry state-of-affairs and misfortune of the bustling road which is leading to further problems of commutation.
