B Raj Kumar has been appointed as Executive Director of Indian Bank with effect from 1 January, 2012 by the government of India.

According to a press note here, he assumed charge on 1 January 2012 at Dharavi branch of Mumbai Zone. Prior to this assignment he was the General Manager of Andhra Bank heading the Investments and International Banking Division at Mumbai. He was also General Manager of Hyderabad and New Delhi Zones of Andhra Bank and he has served in various parts of the country. Raj Kumar has replaced V Rama Gopal, Executive Director who retired on 31 December 2011 on superannuation. |
