Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Daredevils by five wickets in the Indian Premier League match played at Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium here today.

Batting first after winning the toss, Delhi managed 185 in 20 overs with Sehwag scoring a quick fire 74. Led by Dinesh Karthik in the absence of Gautam Gambhir, Delhi scored runs at quick pace. Muralitharan and Balaji took two wickets each.

In reply, CSK scored the runs with five balls to spare thanks to Hayden scoring 93 runs using Mangoose bat and skipper Raina, leading the side in Dhoni's absence, scoredunbeaten 49 to guide his team to victory.

Delhi Daredevils: 185 for 6 in 20 overs (Virender Sehwag 74, Mithun Manhas 32 not out; Muttiah Muralitharan 2/25, Lakshmipathy Balaji 2/21).

Chennai Super Kings: 190 for 5 in 19.1 overs (Matthew Hayden 93, Suresh Raina 49 not out; Dirk Nannes 1/18).
