.
Kris Srikkanth will be retaining his place as the chief selector of the India cricket team for the next four years, according to sources.

This decision would be ratified by BCCI AGM which would be on  19 and 20 September.

.
Srikkanth lead selection committee were under fire owing to the poor show by the Indian team in England. Also their rather surprising selection choices recently had not gone down well with the cricket experts.

But it is likely that the axe might fall on Yashpal Sharma who would be now replaced by Vikram Rathore as north zone selector. Rest of the selectors - Narendra Hirwani (Central), Raja Venkat (East) and Surendra Bhave (West) would be retained.
