Directed by Rishi Raj, the movie is about two friends who fight for a cause. Newcomer Kushi plays Murali’s ladylove in the film. ‘I am, thankful to my directors, who came up with good storylines that contributed to my success’, he added. Nee Unnai Arindhal has musical score by Sundar. The audio was released recently in which Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan took part. Produced by Z T Choudhary, the movie would hit the screens very soon. A fresh journey Remember young girl Jenniffer. She played Vijay’s sister in Ghilli Jenniffer is now making her debut as heroine in a movie titled Puthiya Payanam. The movie features M D Muthu in the lead role. He has penned the story and screenplay besides directing the film. Mamadurai Mithuna play the other heroine. The cast includes Nalini, Charlie and Delhi Ganesh. Prasad Ganesh has scored the music. Speaking about the film, Muthu says, ‘it is a romantic tale involving three key characters. The story is based on real-life incidents and all the artistes have contributed their best. The highlight of the movie is catchy musical score by the duo Prasad Ganesh’. ‘Audience these days are receptive to novel themes and I am confident that Puthiya Payanam will woo them to theatres’, he added. A title change
Kamal Hassan’s Thalaivan Irukkiran, a remake of Bollywood hit A Wednesday has undergone a name change. It has been rechristened as Unnai Pol Oruvan.
Being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, the movie features Mohanlal besides Kamal Haasan in the lead role. The movie being directed by Chakri, is being shot in Hyderabad.
A Wednesday was directed by Neeraj Panday and it featured Nasseruddin Shah and Anupham Kher in the lead roles.
