Nakul and Sunaina, who sizzled the screen in Kadhalil Vizhunthen, are back together in Kalpathi S Aghoram’s Masilamani. Directed by debutant Manohar, the film is a love story.

Addressing media persons in Chennai, Nakul, said, ‘after Kadhalil Vizhunthen, I was looking for a role that reflects the real me. Masilamani is a cute love story that would appeal to youngsters.’ Nakul denied rumours that he is in love with Sunaina. Stating that they are very good friends, Nakul added, ‘ our screen chemistry is great so it may look like love but it’s all acting’. According to Manohar, ‘I am fortunate to get such a good producer. We shot a song sequence at Macau islands and other one at Hong Kong. They will be very different locations for viewers.’ The highlight of the movie is its screenplay. There would be no lag moments and audience would be thoroughly entertained, said Manohar. Sunaina plays a Bharatnatyam dancer in the film. The rest of the cast includes Bhavan, Karunaas, Santhanam, M S Baskar, Rajkapoor, Delhi Ganesh, Meera Krishnan, Manobala among others. The movie has musical score by D Immaan and Vetri handles the camera. |
