Actor Jai, who stole the limelight with the hugely successful Subramaniapuram, will have his next Vamanan releasing on 3 July.
Dream Valley Corporation, who is producing Ayirathil Oruvan directed by Selvaraghavan, has churned out Vamanan. Debutant Ahmed, who was an associate of Kathir, directs the movie. |

Says Ahmed, ‘it is about a man aspiring to be a hero in cinema. The troubles and sacrifices he has to make in order to reach his goal forms the crux. A popular Model Priya Anandh plays the heroine while Lakshmi Rai is also in the cast. Santhanam, Sampath and Oorvasi also feature in the film.’
Arvindh Krishna will be the cinematographer for Vamanan. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is already topping the charts.
‘Vamanan is a fast, wholesome entertainer sure to entertain all sections of the audience,’ Ahmed said, adding that, ‘it has action, romance and sentiments in the right mix.’
According to sources, the dialogues especially the one-liners penned by Ahmed are the major highlights of the movie.
Jai is confident that Vamanan would be a movie to reckon with in his career. |
