Girls need security, education and a hygienic environment. So, Rotary Club of Chennai MID City has adopted a school for girls and provided it basic facilities.

K P Jain, Director General of Police, was the chief guest at a function held here for the adoption of the school. The school which the club had adopted is the Government Girls High School at Mugappair.

Club district governor A Subramaniam, school principal Valliammal and other members of the club took part in the function.
